Megan L. Black concentrates her practice in business planning, employment law, intellectual property, and general civil litigation. She is admitted to practice in Tennessee and Mississippi.

Megan joined Pietrangelo Cook in 2010. She graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2010, where she was Chair of the Moot Court Board and gained membership into the Order of the Barrister. She twice competed in the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition at Pace University in New York (Semi-Finalist) and was a finalist in the Mississippi Moot Court competition. Megan served as a research assistant for Professor David Case and Assistant Dean Ronald Rychlak with their book, Environmental Law, a part of the Oceana Law for the Layperson series published by Oxford University Press.

A native of Clinton, Mississippi, Megan is an active volunteer for Literacy Mid-South, a coach for youth soccer, and a member of the Memphis Kickball League, Memphis Bar Association and Young Lawyers Division.
